About Us

Let me intoduce myself to those who dont know me.

My name is Christine. I am a mother to 4 amazing kids,  4 fur babies & a Significant other to  a wonderful military guy.  I grew up back and forth between central IL and Northern Arkansas. I did dance & cheer in high school. I spent some time as an assistant varsity coach for the St. Joseph Spartans park district cheer program. I was a foster mom in my younger 20's for a few years. My daughter has been in gymnastics since she was 2, and that is where I learned how to teach basic gymnastics. I have spent my whole adult life as a mother and child care provider. My current occupation is maintenance coordinator for a property management company in Champaign, and of course, sole owner operator of Star Gymnastics. It has been a great honor meeting and working with such amazing kiddos!!  My goal is to grow Star, move us to a bigger space and become a full gymnastics gym that will hopefully compete one day. Baby steps. Big dreams dont happen over night! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey!
